If you are away for more than 24-48 hours this parking is for you.
It is cheaper per day than short term parking and you can generally save money on the ‘gate’ (turn up on the day with no booking) price by booking in advance.
You have the choice of ‘on-airport parking’ or ‘off-airport parking’ or 'meet and greet parking'. See below.

This is the most convenient long term parking as your car is collected and returned right outside the terminal doors.
Generally it is the most expensive style of long term parking. Make sure you choose a reputable operator such as Help-me-park.co.uk – meet and greet Gatwick.
All of the operators in our price checker have been vetted and are all reputable.
You can find out more on meet and greet Gatwick Parking on our Parking at Gatwick Options page. |

You drive to the car park and park your car. You will then need to catch the shuttle bus to your terminal.
On return you catch the shuttle bus back to your car park. This parking is generally more expensive than off airport parking but involves a shorter ride in the shuttle bus.
Again you should be able to save money if you book your parking in advance.
You may also want to consider 'Off Airport parking'.
Our Parking at Gatwick Options page will give you further information on On Airport Parking. |

- Pre-book your parking. Very often discounted rates are available if you book in advance.
- Make a note of directions to the car park so that you do not waste time driving around the airport when you need to be checking in.
- Remember where you parked your car within the car park. It is embarrassing and time consuming to wander around looking for it when you get back from your trip
- Any damage to your car, should there be any, needs to be reported before you leave the car park.
- Car valeting and cleaning is sometimes offered at airport car parks. Check on your arrival at the car park.
- Extra charges are often made for oversized vehicles or trailers, that is if the car park will even accept them. It is a good idea to check first.
If you have a large vehicle or trailer check that it will be accepted in advance. |
